Rainsticks - Chile
These rainsticks are made from excellent quality cactus skeletons. They are hand-picked by artisans in Chile. Small spines are driven into the outer shell of the dried and prepared rainstick body in a spiral pattern. As you tilt the rainstick, small volcanic pebbles tumble down the spiral staircase, gently pitter-pattering as they fall. This sound is outstanding.  Large Picture.
