The Drummers Lounge staff fully supports and beleives the view that our customers as the most important component to our success. We value your first-time business, repeat business, and referrals to new customers. This section is designed to let you know what our policies are concerning your information collection, personal or business.
Credit Cards
When you purchase from us, there is certain information that we collect from you for the specific purpose of payment and shipment of product. Our shopping cart server automatically encrypts your card information. The only thing our staff will see is the last four numbers of your credit card.
Phone, FAX, and Mail Orders / Credit cards
If you choose to purchase from us over the phone, by FAX, or mail order, your entire credit card number will need to be entered into our server. Once entered, and the order is confirmed, your credit card number again is encrypted and we only see the last four numbers.
Agreement with our Business Policy
Simply stated, when you access, purchase, or use our Web Site, you are agreeing that we can collect and use your information. If you do not agree, are still not sure of our intent, please do not use or visit our website until you have had your questions fully answered by one of our staff members.

Periodically, we may make changes to the this policy. It is your responsibility to read all policies. We try to make this legal rhetoric as simple as possible. The 'Last Revision Date' will be posted at the bottom of this page. The new changes will be highlighted for easy viewing. If there have been no changes, you will simply see the last date this policy was reviewed.
What Types of Information Does We Collect From You?
If you purchase anything from our store, we require that you give us your name, full shipping address, and preferably a daytime phone number where you can be reached for questions about your order. We accept most major Credit Cards. We also accept Paypal, Cashiers Check, Money Orders, and personal checks. You do not have to have an account with PayPal to purchase from us. You will be given a choice upon checkout. Your credit card and/or banking account number is encrypted upon checkout and not available for our viewing. We also collect non-personal information, such as your browser type, your ISP, operating system, your IP Address, and sometimes your search terms from our site. This information is used solely for marketing purposes and site traffic study.
How Do We Use Your Information?
The computer-related information we collect is simply used to track your use of our Web Site, with regards to maintaining, evaluating, and improving the customer service you receive at The Drummers Lounge. We also use this information to help run statistical data on our site to help improve high traffic areas, slow downloads, etc.
Do We Disclose Your Information to Third Parties?

We will only involve a third-party company if there is a problem that can not be resolved between yourself and The Drummers Lounge staff. What Is Our Policy Concerning Children's Privacy?
The Drummers Lounge online store is intended for all ages. Our high content is probably more suitable for 8 years and up. We will not knowingly collect or use any Personal Information from children that we know to be under the age of thirteen. Users between the ages of thirteen and seventeen can only purchase from The Drummers Lounge under their parent or legal guardian's supervision and/or approval. If you are between the ages of thirteen and seventeen, you, your parent, and/or your legal guardian may request that we delete any of your Personal Information in our database and/or "opt out" from receiving communications from us. We do get requests from children to purchase gift certificates or products as a surprise or gift for their parent, friend or guardian. We still need someone over 18 years old to approve the purchase. This can be a grandparent, uncle, aunt, older sibling, etc. This is for the protection of the children.
How Can I Stop Receiving Updates and Informative Emails From The Drummers Lounge?
When you purchase from us, or send us correspondence by email, FAX, phone, or mail, we occasionally will send you updates by email regarding sales we are having, new encyclopedia information, or general drum and percussion news. We do not sell email addresses, we only use them for internal use.
