Description: A set of three drums. Each is carved from a mango or mahogany log. It is covered with a shaved goat skin, and attached to the drum with wooden pegs. It is played with one hand, a stick, and a bracelet of iron bells on his wrist. The largest drum is the Kutirindingo, the middle drum is the Kutiriba, and the smallest drum is the Sabaro. In the United States all three drums are known as Kutiro. |
